Delete your Chess Critters account and data
Chess Critters is published by Moonbyte Labs (app ID com.chesscritters.game).
You can delete your account and data at any time.
Option 1 — in the app (instant)
- Open Chess Critters.
- Go to Settings → Delete my account and data.
- Confirm. Your data is deleted from our servers and from your phone right away.
Option 2 — by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email moonbytelabs.support@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Chess Critters data”. Include your in-game nickname and, if you used it, your Google Play Games player name so we can find your account. We complete requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account (sign-in ID), coin balance, owned items, progress, streaks, missions, achievements, statistics and settings.
- Your nickname, avatar and every League entry.
- Your invite code and your entry in the inviter's friends list.
What is kept, and for how long
- Records of Google Play purchases are kept in pseudonymous form (no link to your deleted account) for up to 7 years where required for tax, accounting, refund and fraud-prevention obligations.
- Crash reports and analytics events are not linked to your name and expire automatically (Crashlytics after 90 days; Analytics after 14 months).
- Google Play keeps your purchase history in your Google account. Items you bought can be restored later through Google Play if you install the game again.
